Casting defect repair agent is a high performance polymeric metal material synthesized by a variety of alloy materials and modified toughened heat-resistant resin. It is suitable for repairing and bonding of various metal castings and holes, sand holes, pits, cracks, wear and corrosion of castings with defects greater than 2mm. It is widely used to repair various casting defects with less strict color requirements. It has high strength and can be machined with the base material.
How to detect
The properties of castings directly affect the machining quality, among which the hardness value is an important index to determine the machining quality of castings.
1) Brinell hardness: mainly used to determine the hardness of castings, forgings, non-ferrous metal parts, hot-rolled blank and annealed pieces, using HB450.
2) Rockwell hardness: HRA is mainly used for high hardness specimens, to determine the hardness of materials and surface hardness higher than HRC67, such as hard alloy, steel nitride, etc., the measurement range of HRA> 70. HRC is mainly used for the hardness measurement of steel parts (such as carbon steel, tool steel, alloy steel, etc.) after quenching or tempering, the measurement range is HRC20~67.
3) Vickers hardness: used to determine the hardness of thin parts and steel plate parts, can also be used to determine the hardness of carburizing, cyanide, nitriding and other surface hardening parts
