Good heat resistance, good weldability and excellent corrosion resistance. The drawback is that the room temperature strength is low. It is usually used as heat-resistant material and corrosion resistant material. Titanium alloys are widely used in various fields because of their high specific strength, good corrosion resistance and high heat resistance. The industrial production of titanium began in 1948. The demand of aviation industry makes the titanium industry develop at an average annual growth rate of about 8%. At present, the annual output of international titanium alloy processing materials has reached 4 million tons, and titanium alloy trademarks are nearly 30 kinds. Titanium alloy is mainly used to make aircraft engine compressor parts, followed by layout parts of rockets, missiles and high-speed aircraft. In the middle of 60s, titanium and its alloys have been used in common industries, such as electrodes for the electrolysis industry, condensers for power stations, petroleum refining and desalination heaters, and environmental pollution control equipment. Titanium and its alloys have become a corrosion resistant material.
Titanium alloy is a new important layout information used in the aerospace industry. Its specific gravity, intensity and applied temperature are between aluminum and steel, but it has high specific strength and excellent seawater corrosion resistance and ultra-low temperature function. The amount of titanium alloy in Aeroengine usually accounts for 20% ~ 30% of the total weight of the layout. It is mainly used to make compressor components, such as cast titanium fan, compressor disk and blade, cast titanium compressor casing, intermediate casing, bearing shell, etc. Spacecraft mainly use the high specific strength, corrosion resistance and low temperature resistance of titanium alloy to make all kinds of pressure vessels, fuel tanks, fasteners, instrument straps, frames and rocket shells. Artificial earth satellites, lunar module, manned spaceships and space shuttles also use titanium alloy plate welds.
1: The chemical composition of titanium and titanium alloy bars shall comply with the provisions of GB / T 3620.1.
2: The diameter or side length of hot-worked reinforcement and its allowable deviation shall comply with the provisions in Table 1.
3: After hot working, the allowable diameter deviation of cold drawn bar shall comply with the provisions after rolling (grinding) and cold rolling of polished bar in Table 2.
4: The roundness of the hot processed polished rod shall not be greater than half of its dimensional tolerance.
